Our company

La Vanilleraie de Sambava, a subsidiary of BIOVANILLA, is a company with over 20 years of experience, located in Sambava on the east coast of Madagascar.

We are committed to cultivating vanilla traditionally, using artisanal methods that preserve the quality and unique aromas of Madagascar vanilla.

​

Each bean is carefully harvested, dried, and prepared to ensure an exceptional final product.

Numbers

La Vanilleraie de Sambava is a major player in vanilla production in Madagascar with:

  • More than 4,000 producer-growers are members of our own cooperative.

  • 2 400 hectares of plantations across two strategic regions: Sava and Diana.

  • A production of 200 tons per year.

  • 250 employees.

  • 8 logistics centers.

A socially committed company

La Vanilleraie de Sambava actively contributes to the local economy and the preservation of an ancestral tradition, making vanilla an economic and social pillar for many rural families.

This is reflected in concrete actions:

  • Participation in the construction of 10 schools in Madagascar.

  • Construction of 10 wells to facilitate access to drinking water for isolated villages.

  • Implementation of health insurance for all vanilla producers in the cooperative.

  • Participation in the construction of 15 roads and bridges to facilitate transportation.
